| Xiaomi Adds $ 25 Noise Canceling Headphones |
Xiaomi has announced plans to add Mi Neckaband Pro Bluetooth® headphones to its audio products, including $ 25 Active Noise Canceling.
After defining the vast territory of the Indian smartphone market, Xiaomi has launched a range of affordable audio products in India, including smart speakers and wireless headphones.
At this price you don't usually get Active Noise Reduction on audio devices, and the Mi Neckband Pro is a complement to the Mi Neckband, which was introduced in 2019.
Although Mi Neckband aims to provide an affordable wireless audio experience with modest features, Xiaomi positions the Pro series as an advanced product.
To this end, Mi Neckband Pro has made significant improvements, ranging from longer battery life and updated design to active noise cancellation and improved audio performance.
Mi Neckband Pro features a classic rubberized design. All controls are on the right side, while the left device is printed with the Mi logo on the outside.
According to Xiaomi, the earplugs have an anti-serum design and an anti-clogging speaker grille. Both prevent earwax and small dust particles from blocking the headphones.
A 10mm speaker is installed in each device. Mi Neckband Pro can work via Bluetooth 5.0 and supports AAC and SBC codecs.
The main difference from the Mi Neckband Pro is its active noise canceling feature where the headphones claim to reduce ambient noise by up to 25dB.
There is also an ambient noise cancellation function: it is said that when receiving a voice call, the ambient noise can be reduced by 90%.
Battery life with a single battery charge is 20 hours and IPX5 class protection against sweat and splash.
In addition to the Mi Neckaband Pro, the company also announced a new Mi 16W portable Bluetooth speaker.
The device has an 8W subwoofer that provides a powerful wireless audio experience on the go, and Dual EQ Mode that can be toggled with a button. Two speakers can be set together to create a stereo system.
The 2,600 mAh battery can be charged via the USB Type-C port. Plus, the device can run for up to 13 hours on a single charge.
Also has a built-in microphone for voice calls and voice assistant calls, and the speaker can work via bluetooth 5.0 and IPX7 waterproof.
The portable speaker comes in blue and black and can be purchased from the company's website for $ 35.
