Wireless Go II ... the new microphone for content creators |
Rode released an addition to its portable microphone system that was released two years ago, and the new model was named Wireless Go II.
Several enhancements have been made to the new microphone to provide creators with an easy way to record the voice of two people at the same time.
Wireless Go II, like its predecessor, is a wireless microphone for content creators who want to buy devices on a budget.
The kit now includes two transmitters and receivers that allow portable microphones to record two-channel recordings from two sources, an extended radio range for more stable transmission and an internal recording function as an option.
The transmitter has a built-in omnidirectional microphone or a 3.5mm TRS input for connecting a separate microphone.
Plus, you can connect to the Wireless GO II receiver via USB or Lightning, so you no longer have to use the 3.5mm port for recording.
The receiver can record in stereo mode and output audio to a phone or computer via the USB-C port, output to a separate recorder or camera input via a 3.5mm analog TRS.
The new station contains internal memory so that you can save it directly or via the device.
Rudd claims that while the battery can only be used for seven hours, there is enough room to play 24 hours of audio without an SD card.
You can save multi-track recordings separately for linking to drums in post-production.
Software enhancements include an option for stereo or single recording, 3-level control and a secure channel for internal backup storage.
The new model offers an extended wireless range of up to 200 meters. With these additional features, the Rode Wireless Go II is designed to help relieve stress caused by audio issues with regular audio players.
The microphone also helps to ensure multiple sources are captured to avoid interference from uncontrollable environments and to provide lost audio data.
Most of these features can be accessed through a new app called Rode Central. The Rode Wireless Go II Microphone is now $ 299.
