Samsung is imagining what augmented reality glasses could look like |
Samsung has been trying to enter the field of augmented reality glasses for many years. He recently unveiled a very simple series of photo glasses at the 2020 International Consumer Electronics Show, but he gave no indication of building a true portable augmented reality device.
WalkingCat is a very reliable source of device leaks. Some new concept videos have been released that showcase some of Samsung Glasses Lite's features such as: b- Displaying a huge virtual screen through which you can play games.
The glasses can also be used to relax and watch a movie in the cinema or provide a giant virtual computer screen, turn on the automatic dimming mode for the sunglasses, or not use telemetry to get started to view an instant DJI drone in full screen mode in full screen mode.
The video also shows the concept of Samsung AR glasses that allow users to see 3D digital objects in the real world, similar to the capabilities of Microsoft's HoloLens.
And if you haven't tried Microsoft HoloLens or Magic Leap, you know that reality is far from the visualizations presented here.
Nowadays, wave guides, lasers and projectors provide a very small field of view thanks to these transparent augmented reality glasses.
By standing next to the virtual machine's screen, you can only see a portion of it at a time, and the rest is out of your field of vision.
Samsung will use the video to visualize how to use the smartwatch to navigate the user interface. In the short term, it can be more realistic than trying to click on something that isn't there or nodding your hands in the air.
Smartwatch control is also a model being considered by other companies that are developing augmented reality glasses.
Apple is developing smartwatches and augmented reality glasses, and Facebook's hardware division, responsible for making augmented reality glasses, is developing smartwatches.
While these products are still far from gaining customers, there is an incentive to explore these products and augmented reality is one of the upcoming technological frontiers.
Companies like these: Apple and Microsoft have invested a lot of resources to make this possible. If Samsung does not explore this area and launch the AR, it may be left behind.
