Realme Buds Air 2 for noise reduction |
Realme today launched the Narzo 30 series of smartphones. In addition, the company released the Buds Air 2, the successor to the Buds Air in December 2019.
Realme Buds Air 2 looks like Buds Air Pro and features a two-color design.
It's powered by a dedicated R2 chip, and Realme said it has increased battery life by 80% and latency by 35% compared to previous products.
Buds Air 2 is 10mm long and has a diamond-shaped carbon layer on the surface that provides richer, clearer sound and better frequency response.
Realme introduced a new Bass Boost + mode in Buds Air 2, developed in collaboration with (Alex Pall) and (Andrew Taggart).
Additionally, Realme added two new presets to the Realme Link app, Dynamic and Bright, allowing Dynamic to balance high, low-frequency and mid-range sounds, while Bright can improve human voice, making it great for listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
However, one of the main features of the Buds Air 2 is the ANC Active Noise Reduction function, which cannot be found in the first generation Buds Air.
The ANC in Buds Air 2 can reduce noise by up to 25 dB and filter out most low-frequency noise, including household noise.
Additionally, the Buds Air 2 has ENC cancellation for ambient noise, which uses two microphones on both headphones to make calls clearer.
Buds Air 2 supports touch control, has a smart corrosion detection function, Bluetooth 5.2 and a two-channel transmission system.
It also offers an advanced game mode that can deliver an 88ms delay. That's a big delay compared to the Buds Air's 120ms.
Realme has not revealed the headphone battery size and the charging case, but the company claims that the headset can deliver five hours of gaming on a single charge. In addition to the charging case, you can use it for 25 hours. For ANC off and play time 22.5 hours. -Playing time with ANC is 22.5 hours.
After extending battery life, Realme removed the original Buds Air wireless charging function.
However, Buds Air 2 supports fast charging, so you get 2 hours of uptime after a 10-minute charge, while a full charge takes 2 hours.
The IPX5-rated Realme Buds Air 2 is priced at $ 45 and will go on sale on March 2.
