Microsoft announces new wireless headphones for Xbox |
Microsoft announced the launch of a new wireless headset under the Xbox brand for $ 99.
Scheduled for release next month and is the brand's first wireless (Xbox) headset since the Xbox 360.
The new headset is designed to connect to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, computers and mobile devices via Bluetooth.
The speaker design optimizes every aspect of today's Xbox One stereo headphones and the basic wired chat headphones.
Microsoft is taking advantage of using Surface Headphones to add similar rotating earbuds that allow you to adjust the volume and balance for games or voice chat.
Also designed for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S models, this new Xbox Wireless Headset has a lightweight frame for large leather earpads and an adjustable headband.
It also supports Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS: X-Space audio technology.
When it comes to group chats, Microsoft is also working hard to improve microphone quality.
This new headphone has a dual configuration microphone and sound isolation feature to isolate background noise.
You can also pair the headset with your phone and Xbox at the same time to hear audio or calls from your phone during playback.
The Xbox Wireless Headset can be used for up to 15 hours on battery and can play for 4 hours after a 30 minute charge via USB-C, while a full charge takes about 3 hours.
Microsoft has also updated its Xbox Accessories app, which includes equalizer controls, bass boost, auto mute, microphone control, and microphone brightness.
The new Xbox Wireless Headphones will be available worldwide for $ 99 on March 16th. You can pre-order it starting today at Microsoft Store and other retailers.
