A group of countries have also announced a ban on the sale of new fossil fuel cars that will take effect in the UK in 2030.
Bentley Motors, a luxury car brand owned by Volkswagen in Germany, announced in November that the group will be fully electric by 2030.
GM said last month its goal is to have zero emissions by 2035.
Jaguar Land Rover has announced its goal of achieving net zero carbon emissions in its supply chain, products and processes by 2039.
