Samsung mocked the new OLED screens in laptops and noted the excellent picture quality.
Samsung Display has demonstrated the characteristics of OLED laptop screens through video uploaded to YouTube.
The South Korean technology giant said: The new screen provides high-resolution film colors and provides good visibility in outside sunlight.
According to Samsung, OLED laptops can provide 85% HDR coverage.
The South Korean technology giant has created a new line of laptop screens by posting a video on YouTube titled "Samsung OLED for Laptops: Superb Image Quality".
Samsung claims in the video that its screen can provide DCI-P3 color gamut coverage of 120%, while conventional displays can provide DCI-P3 coverage of 74%.
Other benefits of the company's new laptop screen include pure black (0.0005 nits) and a high contrast ratio of 1,000,000: 1.
The display also has functionality in dark scenes and lighting details. Samsung said at the end of the video, its laptop screen brings every picture to life.
Samsung's 2021 line of laptops was announced last month and includes the Galaxy Book Flex 2, Galaxy Book Flex 2 5G, Galaxy Book Ion 2 and Notebook Plus 2.
Although there are no laptops that use these screens, Samsung plans to launch more laptops with OLED screens later this year.
