MC200CM is a media converter designed to convert 1000BASE-SX fiber optic cable to 1000BASE-T copper media and vice versa. The MC200CM complies with IEEE802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE802.3z 1000Base-SX standards and can be used with multi-mode fiber optic cables with SC connectors. The MC200CM supports the SX (Short Wave Laser) specification with full directional speed. It operates at a wavelength of 850 nm to transmit and receive data. Other features of this device are that it can be used as a standalone device (no stand required) or with a TP-LINK 19 system mount, Auto-MDI / MDI-X connector for TX and device status LED on the front panel.
