Q1. What role does a WiFi Extender play?
Answer: Extend the coverage of existing WiFi networks and remove signal dead zones. Please note that the wireless speed of the router cannot be increased. WiFi speed is reduced due to transmission loss.
Q2. Where should I place a WiFi Extender?
Answer: We recommend for successful installation. Place the WiFi repeater in the middle position between the router and the weak signal area. Note: The location must be within range of the current wireless router's network.
Q3. How can I reset WiFi Extenders?
Answer: Press the WPS / Reset button on the extender for 10 seconds and wait for the factory settings to be restored. You can turn the light setting back on to light.
Q4. Why does my WiFi keep disconnecting?
Answer: Press the WPS button on the extender for 10 seconds, then do the following to update the firmware:
1. Go to JOOWIN Official Download Center, search for “JW-WR768AC” and download the firmware.
2. Download the IP address "192.168.10.1".
3. Click "System Tools" in the upper right corner, select "Firmware Upgrade", then download the last downloaded file, then click "Download."
4. When done, follow the installation instructions below.
