Gigabyte announces the launch of the Aero and Aorus computers |
After Nvidia released the GeForce RTX 3000 Series, Gigabyte announced the addition of new GPUs to the Aorus and Aero line of products.
Gigabyte says it delivers an amazing ray-of-ray gaming experience in Cyberpunk 2077 and other games.
Aorus laptops are traditional gaming laptops, while the Aero series is aimed at content creators.
The difference is mainly external as Aorus products choose more accurate color palettes and Aorus products generally provide higher refresh rate monitors.
Aero laptops are sleek and quiet, while Aorus laptops look like gaming laptops.
Aorus 17G is the flagship of the Aorus series. At 17.3 inches tall, it is designed for gamers and features a mechanical keyboard with an exclusive Omron key.
It also includes a screen refresh rate of 300Hz, which is one of the fastest screens you can find in a gaming laptop.
There are also two new models, the 15.6-inch Aorus 15G and Aorus 15P, both of which come with FHD displays with a refresh rate of 240Hz.
The Aorus 15G puts more emphasis on portability, and Gigabyte said it can deliver 8 hours of battery life.
All three Aorus models can be configured with up to Intel Core i7 H-series, Aorus 17G, and Aorus 15G processors that can be configured with GeForce RTX 3080 GPU, and Aorus 15P can be configured with GeForce RTX 3070.
On the air side, there are two new Aero 17 models, one with 4K HDR display and the other with FHD display.

According to Gigabyte, the OLED configuration covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut with HDMI 2.1, MiniDP, Thunderbolt 3 connections and a UHS-II SD card reader.
The Aero 17 HDR and Aero 15 OLED both have up to GeForce RTX 3080 and Core i9.
