Fujifilm X-E4 features a new design |
In 2017, Fujifilm launched the X-E4, which is the smallest interchangeable lens camera in the X series. With dimensions of 121.3 x 72.9 x 32.7 mm, it is more than 1 cm thinner than its predecessor, the X-E3.
For photographers who prefer SLR cameras like the X-T4 to SLR cameras and don't need the X-Pro3 optical viewfinder, Fujifilm's X-E series is an option.
Like the X100V, it has a 26.1-megapixel X-Trans sensor, special dials for shutter speed and exposure compensation, and a 3-inch tilting LCD touchscreen that can be tilted towards the body.
You can change the screen position 180 degrees for easy mounting when recording vlogs or selfies. Resolution 1.62 million points versus 1.04 million for X-E3.
The trigger now also has a fully automatic P mode setting, and the handle on the front of the X-E3 has been removed completely.
When the X-Trans sensor uses the electronic shutter, it can take pictures at 30 frames per second without power failure, and when using the mechanical shutter it can record at 8 fps.
According to Fujifilm, the X-E4 can reach focus in 0.2 seconds, even in limited lighting conditions, as the coverage of the phase detection autofocus system approaches 100%.
In addition to the 18 simulation modes, it has the company's latest automatic face and eye detection capabilities compared to only 15 in the previous model.
The X-E4 can record 4K video at 30 fps internally and 1080p at 240 fps for slow motion.
And you have the mini HDMI and USB-C ports, plus a 3.5mm headphone jack. So if you want to use an external microphone to record audio, you don't need a 2.5mm to 3mm (5mm) adapter.
The X-E4 will be released in March and the black and silver chassis will cost $ 850 each.
Also available is a $ 1050 kit that includes a new version of the Fujifilm XF, with a 27mm f / 2.8 aperture. Unlike the previous version, the new version of the lens is weatherproof and will be sold separately for $ 400 in March. .
