ASUS launches ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE |
ASUS unveiled its all-new ROG gaming laptop, ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE, at CES 2021.
This case is an update to the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 that includes two screens:
- The first is a 15.6-inch 4K screen with a 120Hz refresh rate or a Full HD display with a 300Hz refresh rate.
- The second is a tiltable screen called ScreenPad Plus, which includes a 14.1-inch touchscreen in the upper half of the keyboard deck with a resolution of 3840 x 1100 pixels or 1920 x 550 pixels.
The size means you can play the game from the top screen and Spotify playlist from the bottom screen.
Asustek said it works with game developers and companies like Adobe to customize content for two screens.
The main screen of the computer has a 15.6-inch screen. Users can now use a 120Hz refresh rate panel, 4K UHD resolution, 100% Adobe RGB color gamut and 3ms response time, or a refresh rate panel. 120Hz, 3ms response time, Full HD panel. 100% sRGB sec and chromatogram.
The tilted ScreenPad Plus can be used to multitask while gaming. You can choose between 300 Hz FHD screen and 120 Hz UHD screen.
ASUS said it has upgraded its cooling system to provide more airflow than before, allowing the system to send more power to the CPU and GPU without being affected by noise.
A new fan design can help consume up to 165 watts of processor power.
ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE is powered by the new AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor or Ryzen 9 5900HX octa-core processor and has a new type of liquid metal cooling via Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 or GeForce RTX 3070 GPU.
You also get 512GB or 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD storage, support for RAID 0 and up to 32GB, 3200MHz DDR4 RAM, plus an open SODIMM slot for an additional 16GB of storage. .
