The inner cap and bowl are made of Bpa-free 304 stainless steel, which are 100% BPA free and do not contaminate the liquid.
Once the water boils completely, the automatic shutdown mechanism will be activated within 30 seconds.
Hard water is water that contains calcium or magnesium mineral ions, usually in the form of carbonate. These ions do not pose a threat to health, but they participate in the reaction and leave insoluble mineral deposits. Hardwater mineral deposits (or crusts) are the deposits of minerals that make up the sediments.
How do I remove sediments?
1. Pour one cup of vinegar or lemon juice and two cups of water into the kettle.
2. Boil the liquid and leave it for two hours. Then wipe and dry it with a piece of cloth.
3. Rinse the kettle with clean water, then dry it with a clean soft cloth. 4. Repeat this process as necessary. Note: If the water quality is very difficult in your area, the kettle will usually have stains or rust on the stainless steel bottom after the first use.
