Portrait .. Frame for digital holograms |
The new Looking Glass project is called Portrait and aims to provide a 3D frame for $ 199. Only one frame photo is required in iPhone portrait mode.
Creating realistic 3D images requires expensive scanning and display devices.
Mirror Glass said: We've always wanted everyone to have their own 3D screen.
She added: We are very excited to be sharing our secret business for the past 18 months. This is a selfie, this is my first 3D personal ad.
The company said creating 3D photos has become as easy as capturing photos in portrait mode on iPhone and importing them into HoloPlay Studio.
And HoloPlay Studio automatically converts the depth of portraits into dozens of perspectives needed to create 3D images.
After conversion, the hologram is automatically saved in the image to enable 60fps standalone operation in the future.
Other options include using the Azure Kinect camera and Intel RealSense to record videos, and using 3D to create apps. The device supports up to 1000 integrated 3D images.
The display window contains the Raspberry Pi 4 microcomputer that provides computing power and memory functions. You can also use it as a 3D image for Mac with the following tools (such as Unity, Unreal, Blender, Maya, and Azure Kinect).
It should be noted that Looking Glass is very expensive, and its 3D screen is priced between 8.9 inches (600 inches) and 15 inches ($ 3000).
Portrait may not be the most ambitious or technically versatile product the Brooklyn startup has ever made, but it's easy to make.
