| Google introduced the earch by tab option in Chrome OS |
After a short delay, Google released version 87 of the OS for Chrome OS devices.
There are several features that can help you to browse the Internet and use this version of Bluetooth accessory. These features will be available in the coming days.
The Tab Group option helps people better manage and hide tabs, but it doesn't always reduce the number of openings.
Google now offers a "Tag Search" option, which allows users to find specific tags in all open windows.
The company has also added a "Tabbed Search" option to the desktop version of Chrome.
Google said: This feature first appeared on Chromebooks in mid-November and will soon appear on other desktop platforms as well.
This feature can be accessed via the round dropdown button in the upper right corner or by pressing Ctrl-Shift-A to see a list of all open tabs.
This feature displays the icon and name of the open label and a close button for easy control.
Chrome OS version 87 now lists battery levels for Bluetooth devices (such as wireless headphones) connected to your computer in the Settings and Quick Settings menus.
This feature appears to be primarily used for wireless headphones and displays the current level notification in the lower-right corner of the screen when connected.
Chrome OS version 87 also adds 36 background images that have been designed by different artists. One of them can be set by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting the "Set wallpaper" option.
Google said: Our team worked with Dutch artists (Rick Berkelmans) to explore the creative potential of Chromebooks.
She added: Berkelmans recently started exploring digital graphics with Chromebooks and creating wallpapers for Chromebooks using the built-in Chrome Canvas app and pen.
Other features in this release are:
- Save to Google Drive supports renaming of files and choosing which folder to save in.
- Chrome OS devices now support switching access devices.
- Google has updated its language settings to make it easier for multilingual users to navigate.
- The window toggle option now supports mouse, touch screen, and pen input.
- Version 87 contains visual improvements when you rename the virtual desktop.
