| Twitter is restricting more Trump tweets |
When the President of the United States wrestled with the host on the platform, Twitter blocked more tweets from Trump. Spreading false allegations of electoral fraud.
The president posted eight tweets on Thursday evening, and the platform restricted all Trump's tweets and prohibited reposting and responses, just as it had done with previous violations.
The tweets were released after a few hours of silence, during which several of the president's agents sent statements on Twitter linked to other platforms.
The president said in an unrated tweet: The Twitter platform is out of control thanks to Section 230 of government funding.
The tweets contained allegations that election monitors were prevented from entering the counting offices in Philadelphia and Detroit, a statement that contradicted direct testimony from observers in both cities.
Both tweets contained a statement in a clip posted during Trump's recent press conference, in which he made unfounded allegations during the campaign.
This message contained many baseless allegations, like the tweet described previously. Due to the abundance of lies, some TV stations stopped press conferences during the show.
This move represents a potential upgrade for Twitter hosts who previously took an informal approach to video posting.
A spokesperson for the Twitter platform said: It will not take any action against news organizations reporting related videos and will investigate individual tweets, including news, to see if action is required.
He added: This step is in line with our citizenship integrity policy, and like this disclaimer, we severely limit our interaction with these Tweets.
In the tense time after Election Day, the Twitter platform has strictly enforced Citizen Integrity Guidelines.
As of Tuesday evening, the president had posted 30 tweets, 12 of which were somewhat restricted.
The restricted tweets apparently contain false claims that votes will not be counted on ballot papers after Election Day and allegations that there is clear evidence of fraud in the Biden campaign.
Unlike Twitter, Facebook does not explicitly restrict interaction with Trump's content, as realistic checkboxes have been added to all Trump posts since the election.
