WINDFORCE 3X cooling system features 2 x 90mm and 1 x 80mm single-blade fans, rotating turn, 7 copper heat pipe fittings, large direct touch GPU, 3D active fans and cooling. Strainer which together provide high efficiency in heat dissipation. Alternating rotation reduces turbulence in adjacent fans and increases air pressure. GIGABYTE rotates adjacent fans in opposite directions so that the airflow direction between the two fans is the same, reducing turbulence and increasing airflow pressure. The active 3D fan ensures passive cooling and the fan stays closed when the GPU is under low load or low power consumption.
The airflow is injected through the triangular edge of the fan and is directed evenly to the surface of the fan through the curvature of the 3D tape. Nano-graphene lubricant can extend the life of normal-bearing fans by 2.1 times, which is close to the life of double ball bearings and is much quieter. The enlarged heat sink design allows air to circulate and ensures better heat dissipation. Through direct contact with GPU and VRAM, the large copper plate contains a compound heat tube that can efficiently transfer the heat generated from the inner core to the heat sink. Not only does the metallic backplate look great, it also optimizes the graphics card architecture for full protection.
Silent mode makes the experience quieter. The mode switch must be restarted for it to take effect. The default is OC Mode. The graphics card uses a better power stage design to allow MOSFETs to operate at lower temperature and each MOSFET plus overheat protection, load balancing design, robust inductors and capacitors for performance and longer system life. Fully automatic production process guarantees circuit board quality and removes burrs from solder connectors.
