Intel's NUC M15 is supposed to compete with HP and Dell's hardware |
Intel released a new specially developed NUC M15 laptop that will be sold through different partners in early 2021.
This computer is the latest in the NUC ("Next Computing Unit") series known to make small desktop computers.
The Intel name is not displayed on your computer because the company has made this mobile device available to its partners and its partners can sell the NUC M15 with its brand and configuration.
Laptops can be another way for smaller brands to compete with larger companies like Dell and HP.
This isn't the first time Intel has done this because they built the MAG-15 gaming laptop more than a year ago, and it's being sold by many of the smaller brands around the world.
Depending on the specifications, the price of a computer can range from $ 1,000 to $ 1,500. Hence, the price is left to Intel's partners and the device is expected to be purchased early next year.
The computer has an 11th generation Core i5-1135G7 or Core i7-1165G7 processor with an integrated Iris Xe graphics card instead of the standalone Nvidia graphics card.
There is a 15.6-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1080p (available with touch or no touch), and you can choose between 8 GB and 16 GB of RAM, although you will not be able to upgrade the storage in the future.
Different memory locations can be used depending on the brand of computer you sell. Intel said: The 73Wh battery can be used for up to 16 hours on a single charge.
The case contains two USB 4 Type C or Thunderbolt 4 ports for charging and data transfer, two 10Gbps USB-A ports, a full-size HDMI port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The laptop also includes an LED light strip that glows blue when using the Alexa app on Windows. The NUCM15 has four built-in microphones that can be used to detect noise in the room.
Your laptop's webcam is compatible with Windows Hello, so you can sign in with facial recognition technology.
