Huawei publishes final EMUI 11 release schedule |
Huawei introduced EMUI 11 in September last year. Several new functions are being used on his smartphones and tablets.
New features supported by EMUI 11 include the ability to split the screen into multiple windows to support multiple tasks and continuously running screens.
Since then, the Chinese company has started offering user interfaces with trial versions for some of its phones and has now announced a timeline for the final stable release of EMUI 11 for its devices in the global market.
Huawei has released a table that lists the device name, model number and expected release date for EMUI 11 (by region). The mentioned regions include: the Middle East, Africa, Russia, Asia Pacific countries, Western European countries, Northeast European countries, Latin America, Japan and India.
For countries / regions such as the Middle East, Africa and Russia, Huawei plans to release the final stable version of EMUI 11 in three steps, each of which will be received: Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro, Huawei P40 Pro Plus, Huawei Mate 30 Pro and Huawei Companion. The 30 Pro 5G will be updated in December.
In January 2021, the update will only cover two phones: the HUAWEI Mate Xs and the HUAWEI nova 7.
And before the end of the first quarter of 2021, the update will reach 11 devices: Huawei P30, Huawei Mate 20 X, Huawei Mate 20 X 5G, Huawei Mate 20, Huawei Mate 20 RS PORSCHE DESIGN, Huawei Mate 20 Pro, HUAWEI P30 Pro, HUAWEI nova 5T, HUAWEI MatePad Pro, HUAWEI MatePad Pro 5G, and HUAWEI MediaPad M6 10.8 inch.
In the future, Huawei plans to install its own operating system (Harmony OS 2.0) to qualify the hardware. If Huawei decides to cancel Android completely, EMUI 12 should not start.
