Google and Disney introduce the Mandalorian AR experience |
Google and Disney have teamed up to bring the Mandalorian series "Star Wars" into augmented reality.
Google announced the launch of a new augmented reality app on Android called Mandalorian AR Experience, which showcases special moments since the first season of the augmented reality series.
The app will use the new augmented reality content for about a year until the end of October 31, 2021.
The app uses a Google development platform to create an augmented reality experience called ARCore and create scenes that interact with the user's surroundings.
This comprehensive design lets audiences unlock other influences based on their actions.
The app also uses Google's new Deep API ARCore, which the app can use to activate the stamp.
This allows the augmented reality scene to blend naturally with the environment you see with your smartphone's camera.
According to Google's head of creative augmented reality partnerships, players can interact with characters in AR and record scenes from the app to share.
Since the app is equipped with the latest augmented reality technology from Google, it is not suitable for all Android devices.
Google said: The app only supports 5G-compatible Android devices, including Google Pixel smartphones and other specific Android phones that support 5G networks.
The company announced that it may support other phones in the future.
The experience requires an Android device with 5G technology, but Google has said that you don't need to be connected to a 5G network to use the app.
Instead, the demand is for the technology that these devices use rather than the network itself.
In the past few years, Google and Lucasfilm have carried out various marketing and promotional activities.
These are generally not considered advertisements because they allow both companies to display their services or technology.
Google enables its applications to introduce new features similar to "Star Wars" from 2015, which take advantage of its special services such as Gmail, Maps, YouTube, Chrome, etc.
In recent years, the search giant has also provided great virtual reality experiences with Star Wars content.
