E.gg .. a platform for free creative expression from Facebook |
On Wednesday, Facebook announced the launch of its new beta app, which is currently only available to iOS and US users.
With the world's largest social network and over 2.7 billion monthly active users, Facebook launched the E.gg app in July last year to revive the popular internet experience of the 1990s.
The app is developed by Facebook's new beta product team, charged with developing beta apps. It is a "platform for free creative expression," the company said.
For example, Facebook said in an article, “For example, it was inspired by a lack of experience and exploration in the early days of the Internet, including flashing gifs, enthusiastic guestbook entries, and personal web pages dedicated to specific interests.” For example you could create a page like Handbook from your mobile phone and publish it on the web.
Users can edit their own set of pictures, GIFs, shapes and text on the blank board to show their interests and personality. Facebook said: "In the limited beta, we saw people creating fan pages, catalogs, comments, profiles, collages, recipes, etc."
Users can then post the business online using a unique URL. The application does not need to display other people's pages. However, if the user already owns the app, they can browse other people's creations. If parts are required, he can add these elements to his own application.
IOS users can download the E.gg app from the App Store or browse other people's work through the E.gg app website or their Instagram account.
Facebook said yesterday (Wednesday): The new feature is part of the messaging experience of the Messenger app, which is integrated with the Instagram app to share photos and videos, and it is already available to everyone.
Facebook said: The first new feature available to Instagram users is the 'Watch Together' feature. The second feature enabled is the chat feature, which allows users to customize conversations.
Facebook said in a blog post that the third feature is (Vanish Mode) coming soon to Instagram. The company announced a few days ago that it had launched Messenger and Instagram services.
