Apple could launch the iPhone 12 product portfolio in South Korea earlier than in the past to take advantage of existing 5G services and users in South Korea.
South Korea is Apple's first destination for the iPhone 12, and this year's model will arrive in the market earlier than usual, or at least in the early stages of its launch.
Apple hasn't announced its second fall major event, but there is consensus that the iPhone 12 series launch event will happen in October.
According to Jon Prossers (Jon Prosser) Leck, the event can be scheduled for October 13 and the new model will be launched on October 23.
In the past few years, Apple launched a new iPhone model in South Korea, about a month after it was launched in other countries.
According to the Corian Herald report, Apple may release new 5G models as early as late October or early November.
The Korea Herald added that South Korea became the first country in the world to market 5G services in 2019.

In addition, South Korea may be one of the few countries that can access newer iPhone models faster with (mmWave).
Reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that all four iPhone 12 models will be 5G compatible, but only some countries / regions will receive models that support the faster mmWave standard.
According to Korea Herald, Apple (iPhone 12) could also be the first smartphone in the country to support the faster (mmWave) standard as the standard is not currently available on any mobile phone that supports Samsung's 5G network. .
Apple is currently the second largest smartphone brand in South Korea, right after Samsung, with a share of 19%, while Samsung's share is 67%.
