YouTube officially announced the launch of its YouTube Short Film Service, which will compete with popular short video sharing service TikTok, on Monday.
In its blog, the company said, Short Films is a new short video experience suitable for video creators and artists who want to use their mobile phones to record short videos.

Similar to YouTube shorts, the goal of the service (YouTube shorts) is to make videos easily recognized by content creators and easy to switch between short videos by dragging them vertically on the screen.
