When will OnePlus phones get the OxygenOS 11? |
OnePlus 8 (8 Pro) is now introducing the OxygenOS 11 Beta based on Android 11, which includes a new layout and some new functions such as Always On Display.
As with all new OxygenOS releases, the most important question is when will OnePlus phones get the update. When does the stable release start?
There is good news in this regard as the manufacturer has confirmed that the OnePlus 6 and (6T) will be upgraded to OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11.
OnePlus will launch the OxygenOS 11-12 phones, and the OnePlus 6 and (6T) are still in demand in 2020. Thus, it's great to see both phones on the list. Here is a complete list of work phones that receive OxygenOS 11 updates:
- 8 Pro
- OnePlus 8
- north
- 7T Pro McLaren Edition
- 7T Pro
- OnePlus 7T
- 7 Pro 5G
- OnePlus 7 Pro
- OnePlus 7
- McLaren 6T version
- OnePlus 6T
- OnePlus 6
We'll likely see a similar schedule this year, with the stable release of Android 11 expected on September 8, and OnePlus' participation in the beta program should fix bugs and release the stable version. Without wasting much time.
The stable OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 will also be offered first in OnePlus 8, (8 Pro) and (Nord) and then in older devices.
OnePlus 7T and 7 series update is also expected before the end of this year. However, it will take a few weeks for OnePlus to officially confirm the exact date.
Last year, OnePlus introduced the update (OxygenOS 10) to its devices with flying colors. We hope the company can deliver the OxygenOS 11 updates on time.
