Google said: Starting October 13, it will delete files that Google Drive users move to the trash after a certain period of time.
The US tech giant stated in an article that the file will be automatically deleted from the Recycle Bin after 30 days. This change means that files moved to Trash in Drive will work in the same way as other Google products (such as Gmail), with the goal of making behavior more consistent across all Google products.
