Fortnite iPhone users have dropped sharply, according to a statement by Epic Games in a new lawsuit.
Epic Games said: "Since Apple launched its revenge campaign, the number of daily Fortnite users on iOS has decreased by more than 60%."
I wrote in the repository that the number of iOS users has decreased since Apple removed Fortnite from the App Store on August 27.
Fortnite developer (Epic Games) is still trying to force Apple to return the game to the App Store as the two companies question the legality of Apple's in-app purchase rules.
The game developer added that Apple's actions would harm the current Fortnite community, and (Epic Games) revealed in the document that (iOS) users generally make up the majority of Fortnite players.
Of the 350 million registered users, there are over 116 million iOS users - one-third.
Fortnite can be played on Android, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
(Epic Games) claimed in the new file that Apple had banned its use for a year and that the inability to access the player (iOS) would lead to irreparable losses.
The company wrote: (Epic Games) may not see these users again, and at least next year it will be denied access to a new user out of more than a billion users (iOS).
The new deposit came after the court refused to issue an injunction (Epic Games) to force Fortnite to return to the App Store.
The court ruled that (Epic Games) has not proven that it is unlawful to cause irreparable harm to the App Store. The judge said: The (Epic Games) position imposed itself and it was decided to violate the agreement with Apple strategically.
Epic Games' battle against Apple began on August 13 when the game was updated so that all in-app purchases are made through the payment system.
For Apple, developers should use Apple's built-in payment system, which automatically charges a commission ranging from 15% to 30%. (Epic Games) She said: It is not competitive.
According to reports, (Epic Games) is not the only software development company in a lawsuit with Apple, as Spotify filed a complaint with the European Union last year that led to the antitrust investigation of The Conduct.
After Apple refused to waive the fee for a new feature on Facebook, Facebook recently entered into a dispute with Apple over the cost.
