| Facebook is integrating Messenger and Instagram messages into the company's new app |
Facebook announced today (Thursday) the launch of a new application that allows small business owners to manage pages and personal files via Facebook, Instagram and Messenger.
The company has the largest social network in the world with around 2.7 billion monthly active users. The company said in its blog: The new Facebook Business Suite application will integrate the backend infrastructure for these three applications. This enables small business owners to receive messages, alerts, and notifications from customers in one unified mailbox.
On the technology website (The Verge), Facebook was quoted as saying: In the future, the WhatsApp instant messaging app will be integrated into three other apps.
Using the app, small businesses can simultaneously post information to Facebook and Instagram and provide information about the effectiveness of their campaigns on the platform. Please note that the administrator of the Instagram business account linked to the Facebook page already has access to several cross post tasks.
It's worth noting that service integration has been a top priority for Facebook for some time. Last year, the New York Times reported that the company plans to integrate the messaging capabilities of WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger and keep the three apps separate. Applications are enabled with mutual communication between applications. Axios previously reported that Facebook has been developing unified messaging functions for companies since February 2019.
Facebook plans to make business tools available to small businesses first and then to large companies.
It should be noted that Facebook began to integrate Instagram and Messenger conversations through a new update in mid-August of last year, as the company is testing the system with some accounts.
