Amazon announced the game streaming service Luna

Amazon on Thursday announced the launch of Luna, a cloud-based game streaming service for Fire TVs, desktops, and mobile platforms.

This new service from the US e-commerce giant is similar to Google's Stadia and allows users to play games that are streamed over the Internet without having to download and install them.

The Luna service provides many channels for users. You can subscribe to these channels to access various content. There is a major channel called (Luna Plus) + and it is currently in Early Access. Channel subscribers can play 1080p games at 60 frames per second and plan to support 4K resolution in the future. Users can play with two devices together.

Luna + is available to subscribe for $ 6 a month during the Early Access period, and the channel will see more games in the future.

Amazon announced a special Ubisoft channel. This channel allows subscribers to access current and future Ubisoft games at the same time they are released, for example in - Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, Far Cry 6 and Fanny Immortal.

Unlike Luna +, Ubisoft is limited to streaming to one device at a time. The price for this channel has not yet been announced, but Amazon is planning to purchase more channels of this type from other publishers.

And since Amazon owns the Twitch game streaming service, Luna + users can access it. Users can access the game broadcasts available on Twitch and play the games they are watching in real time.

Amazon said: (Luna) works on Fire TV Stick, Windows PC and Mac. The service also works on Apple smartphones and iPads with web apps. Regarding the Android system, the company said: Support will be available soon.

Subscribers can use a Bluetooth-enabled keyboard, mouse, or controller to play. Amazon will also sell a console called Luna Controller for the platform.

Similar to Google's (Estadia) service controller, Luna Controller creates direct cloud connection via Wi-Fi, which according to Amazon reduces latency from 17 to 30ms. With this joystick, users can also instantly switch between different devices as it is not directly assigned to any device. During Early Access, the Luna Controller is priced at $ 50.

It should be noted that the (Luna) service is currently only available in the United States. There is no information about when it will be launched on the global market.
