Lenovo launched the Legion Slim 7i gaming laptop |
Lenovo announced today (Monday) its new Legion Slim 7i gaming laptop and other laptops and tablets such as the new Yoga 9 series computers.
The Chinese technology giant said: (Legion Slim 7i) is the lightest gaming laptop in the world, has a 15-inch GeForce RTX graphics card and works with a tenth-generation Intel Core i9 processor.
The computer is a dark gray color, made of aluminum used in the aircraft industry, and has excellent strength and brightness, and is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card developed with Max-Q technology. It supports advanced Optimus technology, reduces workload by intuitively switching between integrated graphics chip, and extends battery life with discrete graphics so users can manage system graphics.
The computer supports Max-Q Dynamic Boost technology, which allows the power consumption of the GPU and CPU to be automatically balanced in real time, so that the system can dynamically transfer power consumption from the CPU to the GPU for heavy activities (such as games).
The device supports DLSS 2.0 technology. This means that deep learning is used for super sampling with artificial intelligence to increase the frame rate to twice the original frame rate, while the function (ray tracing) can keep images half pixel clearer.
Unlike other gaming computers, (Legion Slim 7i) is light and slim, with a thickness of not more than 17.9 mm, weighs 1.86 kg, and has a 71 watt-hour battery that works for 7.75 hours.
In the laptop's power switch there is a fingerprint sensor and a "privacy screen" with which you can turn off the webcam. The computer provides an internal M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD with a maximum capacity of 2 TB and a maximum of 32 GB DDR4 3200MHz random access memory (RAM).
The new Lenovo (Legion Slim 7i) introduces a 15.6-inch screen with a resolution of 4K IPS VESA DisplayHDR 400, a refresh rate of 60Hz and a brightness of 600 nits. There is also an FHD option with a higher 144Hz refresh rate.
Lenovo said: The game console will start at $ 1,550 next October.
