Samsung is preparing to launch an 11-inch (Galaxy Tab S7) screen and a 12.4-inch (Galaxy Tab S7 +) screen later this year. A new leak reveals all the technical data details.
If you want a powerful Android tablet, Samsung is the only real option that has proven successful in recent years, especially if we think Huawei can't use the Google app.
German blog (WinFuture) has published two Galaxy Tab S7 + (Galaxy Tab S7) + photo libraries + upgrades.
The standard device (Galaxy Tab S7) does not have a high-quality AMOLED screen, including an 11-inch (LTPS LCD) display with a resolution of 1160 x 1600 pixels.
However, the screen has a 120Hz refresh rate, a pixel density of 274 pixels per inch and a brightness of 500 lumens.
Samsung's plan to use the LCDs in the next flagship tablet is pretty shocking, but that's not an issue given that the main competitor of the tablet is the iPad Pro with the same screen quality.
This saves costs and allows the fingerprint sensor to be transformed into a capacitive sensor instead of a sub-image sensor.
In contrast, the larger device (Galaxy Tab S7 +) has a 12.4-inch (SuperAMOLED) screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1752 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The pixel density is 287 ppi. Although the peak brightness of 420 lumens may not match the brightness of the smaller LCD screen, it is difficult to tell the difference because it is "OLED display."
Regardless of the screen, the biggest difference between the two devices is the battery, where the smaller version has a 7000 mAh battery and the larger version has a 10,000 mAh battery.
The internal specifications of the tablet are very similar, as it has a Snapdragon 865 processor, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB storage, a microSD slot, two 5 + 13 MP rear cameras, an 8 MP front camera and four speakers.
Like the Galaxy Tab S6, the upcoming Samsung tablet also includes an S Pen in the package.
According to the data sheet, the S Pen response time is 9 ms. This is a massive upgrade that has been the gold standard for iPad Pro and (Apple Pencil) for a while.
The S Pen can be magnetic attached to the back of the tablet as it can also be charged.
How much the new series cost has been reported, but Samsung is expected to launch these tablets for the first time when the event takes place on August 5 (Galaxy Note 20).
