Windforce 3X cooling system features a 3 x 82mm single fan, spare rotary fan, 5 copper coil heat pipes, direct contact heat pipes and active 3D fan functions together provide heat dissipation for efficient and superior performance at low temperatures.
Solving the "alternative cycle" of Gigabyte can solve the problem of turbulence in the three fans. The biggest problem with the three fans is turmoil. Since the fans are running in the same direction, the direction of the air flow between the fans is opposite, which results in turbulence in the airflow and reduces the efficiency of heat dissipation. GIGABYTE turns the central fan in the opposite direction so that the airflow direction between the two fans is the same, reducing turbulence and increasing airflow pressure.
The airflow flows through the edge of the triangular fan gently and through the 3D ribbon curve on the surface of the fan, effectively improving airflow.

The active 3D fan ensures almost passive heat dissipation. When the GPU is in low load or low power mode, the fan remains idle. If the system is running in a light or inactive state, the player can safely play the game.
The pure copper heat pipe shape increases the direct contact area with GPU and thus improves heat transfer. The heat tube also covers the VRAM cell by connecting to a large metal plate to ensure good cooling.
The integrated heat pipes combine the thermal conductivity and the phase conduction, which allows to control the heat transfer between the two steel interfaces efficiently, thus improving the cooling performance.
