Microsoft begins the automatic installation of Edge via the Windows 10 update

Microsoft has launched the new Edge web browser with the Windows 10 system update, which aims to make users more accessible to the company’s highly supported browser.

In January last year, the US tech giant launched a browser based on Google Chromium - the same browser that created popular browsers. The most famous is the Google Chrome browser. Users had to disconnect it from downloading it.

Now Microsoft mentioned in the support article that the new Edge is available through Windows 10 Update. This means that it will soon be installed on more than a billion computers running Windows 10. It appears that the browser will be installed automatically via Windows Update 1803 and later versions. This includes most versions that are currently supported by Windows 10.

Over the past few months, Microsoft has worked hard to gradually improve the EDGE experience, including simultaneous improvements. Registration and tabs should now be synced and the company promised to take control next summer.

Microsoft also plans to launch vertical tabs, new search features in the sidebar, and integration with Pinterest in the coming months. Microsoft has also partnered with Google to improve support for spelling and scrolling, and is also working to improve support for the Progressive Web Application (PWA) at Edge.
