Samsung launched the Galaxy A Quantum phone with a quantum encryption chip |
Samsung announced today (Thursday) its partnership with the Korean telecom company SK Telecom to launch its latest smartphone, Galaxy A Quantum, which has a special chip to improve security.
The embedded chip generates random numbers to increase device encryption. SK Telecom said: The chip can help smartphone users use specific services safely by creating pure and unexpected random numbers without a specific pattern. The quantum chip contains a CMOS image sensor to detect photons, which forms the basis for generating random numbers for encryption keys.
Samsung and SK Telecom have said that the Galaxy i Quantum chip can also be used to securely store personal files such as insurance policies, certificates, etc., and to prevent counterfeiting and general forgery.
SK Telecom said the chip would be used in conjunction with offline biometric-supported mobile payments. As she said, she plans to share an open API. This opens the door for more applications that support quantum chips.
The technical data of the phone is similar to that in the Galaxy A71 5G, for example: Exynos 980 processor, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB internal memory, and 4500 mAh battery / hour.
The screen type of this phone is AMOLED, the size is 6.7 inches, the resolution is + FHD, with a front camera slot for a 32-megapixel camera and there are 4 cameras at the back of the phone, the main resolution is 64 megapixels, the second is 12 megapixels, the third is 5 megapixels and the fourth is 5 megapixels Pixels.
