Screen evolves, support adjustable. I use it in portrait format. It was annoying at first, but after changing the refresh rate to 75Hz using gtf and xrandr (I'm on Linux), it became very easy to use it in desktop work. You have also disabled the anti-allergy function for this screen. There is also a little bit of anti-reflective coating on the screen, which is another value.
I found TN screen more comfortable to look at than IPS / PLS screen, which made me feel the viewfinder. I think it is a good screen at a reasonable price. I hope it has no edges and HDMI, but this is not really a problem. If you want to use this feature in portrait mode, also make sure "Magic Angle" is set to "Side Profile" or "Vertical".
I also have a Samsung PLS 24 model. Although it is a big screen too, I managed to force it to 75 Hz. However, my eyes only have a TN card. Although PLS is not as good as IPS, it is not as comfortable as a TN card. But nothing more than that, if you don't have a problem with IPS then "PLS 24" is also a good choice.
