Lite-On IHAS124-14 Internal DVD+/-RW Drive Optical Drive
I've burned about six CDs that can be copied to this computer, and maybe a dozen DVDs to back up data. I also use it to read about 50 backup copies of the data on the CD-R that I have used in recent years to extract it using various stoves. The CD-R could not be read at first, but I think it is a problem with the old optical media. I started to experiment with CD and CD-DA. Even when DVD media is working, it can no longer be read / written to CD media.
You have contacted the seller about RMA. I suggest to call Lite-On.
So I called Lite-on, who told me it received RMA from the seller.
Okay. I informed the seller who requested the simple reply that you provided in the email. : - \
Then the seller asked for the serial number, and the serial number was given in the email. :-( I don't like this style.
The seller stated that he would buy RMA. Okay. If it explodes, I will call it a name, but if they go through it, I will finish it.
Since it may take some time, I can imagine that I would order another piece and keep all the parts for RMA. I found that the renewal service was provided by another seller and I had a lot of experience in renewals in the past. The seller (M-Wave) shipped fast. The IMO has no way to repair or even check the engine.
The door does not open. unbelievable. No friction or lift, just a nice roar. I manually opened the container with a paper clip and saw the loose container compartment strap in the reader (see photo). I managed to restore it and install it on the disc using the recorder. Joy!
No, the Despair CD is the drive and does not remain closed, regardless of whether the disc exists. The cap may not lift properly. I replaced it, but Prime doesn't seem to be recovering it. good.
