I never owned a smart watch. When you call a smartphone, I like the functionality of this watch. When you receive a call or notification on your phone, it will appear on your watch and you will know if it is worth it to pull the phone out of your wallet or pocket. This watch works with the free iConnect By Timex 2 app. You should download it to your phone. It's fast to install and doesn't take up much space on the phone. Once installed, you can pair your watch with your phone, turn on notifications, turn on location features, etc., even it includes options for different sports modes and local weather.
Smart watches can track your speed and distance, monitor your heart rate, and calculate the calories you burn during the day. You can define your own goals in the app.
Battery life is excellent. It has a "Always On" function in the app, but I kept it for a longer period to extend the battery life.
I like that you can slide your finger away from the main screen to change the surface. The watch itself has many stylish connectivity options, you can download more options from the app.
Although I haven't seen any other field options for this Timex model, the column looks interchangeable.
