This amazing display connects to MacBook Pro 13 "and 15" Retina via the touch bar. It has a 15-inch Radeon Pro 560 graphics card with 4,096 MB of RAM. The 13-inch laptop can be instantly connected and fully powered with the HP USB-C cable. The 15-inch MacBook Pro requires power plus an HP USB-C cable, but that's normal. Smaller operation on a laptop is an added benefit. To use it normally with MacBook Pro, you need to change the HP Envy standard input controls -> Switch input automatically from Off to On. This is important for 15 "MBP, not 13". Without changing the settings, the screen may show that the USB-C entry is not recognized, or it may incorrectly appear that the supplied HP USB-C cable (the only cable that I have tried) did not use it.
Ready-to-use display modes "Photo", "Low Blue Light" and "Game FreeSync" are very close to those with this type of fear like me. I will use it to edit RAW photos in Lightroom, Photoshop, Luminar 2018 and Affinity Photo. There are several commands that you can use to change the screen to calibrate colors. One of the other five display modes is dedicated. I think it would be desirable if you want the color / brightness / contrast to be as complete as possible. I used the screen for about a month and I had no time to adjust the settings to calibrate the color. I hope I can bring you back ...
