Google launches a feature to share any site in its maps even without a title |
Google announced a new feature today, Thursday. Although no official address is available, users can easily share their address through the map service.
The tech giant said in an article that more than 2 billion people around the world do not have an official address to find them. To meet this challenge, the company launched Plus Codes in 2015. Latitude and Latitude are used. A numerical address derived from the longitude coordinates. It can be used to uniquely identify any location, be it a city or a mountain.
Google said today: With an Android device, anyone can easily share a location using the address of the Plus icon in Google Maps. You can use this feature by clicking on the blue dot representing the user’s current location to obtain a plus sign for the current location. You can then share the code with other people at the official address.
Google says it can easily search for open site codes through the Maps service or even its search engine. This means that the codes each user receives are unique, in addition to local units, also containing numbers and letters representing the city.
The company has announced that the feature will be available in the latest version of the Google Maps app on Android in the coming weeks.
