| Zoom app shaves high even with blocking in some countries |
Zoom, the video conferencing app developer, has announced that the app's user base has increased by 50% to 300 million users in the past three weeks, as the company aims to respond to violent security measures. The answer prompted many governments and companies to ban the application.
Zoom's share price has tripled since the company's IPO in March last year, rising 12% on Thursday to a record $ 168.24.
