So I have a Dell Alienware X51 R2, i5-4460, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB hard drive, 240W power supply and GeForce 750TI. I bought it 5 years ago. It works very well like a second computer.
It is a very compact box in the living room for small games and broadcast TV.
As a first step in upgrading the system (upgrading the RAM to 16GB, upgrading the hard drive to SSD and i7-4790K-CPU), I chose this graphics card. why? Since it is currently better and faster GPU, its function only comes from PCI slot.
It is important for me for two reasons.
1. The maximum power consumption is only 75 watts. Alienware PC has an external power supply and I simply cannot run more than 75 watts of power.
2. Because of its low resistance, it operates in a relatively low temperature. In such a small case, this is important because the airflow is weak and any large air flow can easily flow.
In short, for the compact and sturdy small computer it is simply the best option.
How is the installation process?
I removed the old GPU and replaced it, turned on the computer and watched ... black screen. U!
I need to connect the TV's HDMI cable to the graphics on the embedded motherboard before downloading GeForce Experience, which then automatically detects the card and installs the appropriate driver. Restart the computer after connecting the HDMI to the card. This is a wonder!
I am very happy with this card and I am really happy! It's on startup and it's only supported by a PCI slot (works normally with my PSW 240W, but I only need device safety at 330W - GeForce recommends a minimum power source of 300W for this card), which is quiet (above) 750TI replaced , But not as visible as my above 1080TI - fan noise barely noticed, and within acceptable limits) is a full upgrade to 750TI - to be fair, it's the current leader
If your performance is limited and / or the computer condition is small, I would definitely recommend this card. The card is perfect for this position.
If you have a larger bag and more features, the AMD RX570 is definitely the best graphics card at this price. Of course, if you spend more money on the next level of cards, the performance will improve.
But I am very happy with this GPU. Very suitable for me
