Microsoft allows adding custom wallpapers in Teams |
Microsoft has released a new update to the Video Conferencing app (team app) that allows users to change the background during a call to provide more privacy, especially for users who do not want their homes to appear during the call.
With this new feature, users cannot add identical images to the zoom service. However, the company promises to provide this feature later. Users can now choose a background from many of the company's backgrounds.
Note that Microsoft uses AI technology to blur the background, then replace the background with the user's background.
In addition to the custom background feature, Microsoft has announced a (hand-lift) feature that users can click to tell other chat users about what this means.
The company also added an 'end of meeting' option, which allows the call organizer to end the call with one click. Microsoft explained that it was the teacher who requested the addition of this option.
