Canon announces more amazing specs for Canon EOS R5 |
Canon, the leader in digital imaging, today announced additional specifications for the EOS R5 full-frame camera under development. Recently published information includes more detailed information on how to record 4K video, IBIS etc.
Canon EOS R5's latest camera details include:
- 8K RAW internal video recording up to 29.97 fps.
- 10-bit Canon 10.2: 2: 2 8K internal video recording (H.265) to 29.97 fps / HDR PQ (H.265) 10 bit 4: 2: 2 8K internal video recording 10K.
- Canon (H.265) 10 bit 10: 2: 2, 4: 2: 2, HDR PQ (H.265) 10: 2: 2, 4K indoor video recording at up to 119.88 fps.
- External 4K recordings can also reach 59.94 fps.
- Full visibility of the sensor cannot record videos in 8K and 4K resolution.
- AF-CMOS Dual Pixel can be used in all modes of 8K and 4K resolution.
- Canon Log is available in 8K and 4K internal recording modes.
- The EOS R5 features 5-axis image stabilization and can be used with an optical image stabilizer equipped with a number of RF and EF lenses.
