While the Whistler XTR-335 is affordable, it doesn't have many features. The device provides complete protection against radar signals, 360-degree laser detection, Whistler's patented VG-2 blocking technology, POP mode, digital display, dark / dark mode, system alarm security (SWS) alarm, and alertness "in function list Moreover, they can announce the True Voice feature selection in Whistler and SWS messages and choose the feature aloud.
Integration of real sound
If “True Voice” is selected, another signal information that is identified by the identification tone for one domain is provided. Show number icon
The "Light Number Code" screen in XTR-335 provides easy-to-read codes to indicate performance, city mode, radar range, and signal strength. A seven-part digital screen has been added to show signal strength display and range selection.
POP mode alarm
There are new weapons that can be used as instant pistols in the past, but there is a very difficult new change: POP Mode. This new weapon is the traditional radar weapon K and Ka that most radar detectors manufactured in the past 30 years can be found, so it is in POP mode. When the weapon is in the POP mode and activated, a short period of power spread is less than 1/15 second, so the vehicle speed can be set quickly. Detectors that cannot recognize POP mode cannot respond to this short transmission. That could be the case.
360 degree protection
The 360 protection device can detect signals from all radar, laser, VG-2 and safety radar systems from front, back or side.
Camouflage VG-2
VG-2, also known as "radar detector", is a special receiver used by the police to detect signals from radar detectors. With Whistler's VG-2 cloaking technology, the VG-2 detector is always invisible.
3 Roads / City Highway
Direction Mode provides full visual and audible warnings for laser / radar systems with full sensitivity. This is the default Whistler laser / radar detector setting. City Mode reduces the inconvenience of opening door and theft alarms automatically by hearing a preliminary alarm and silencing it (at the same distance as in Street Mode) unless the signal strength becomes too strong. When the signal is increased, the device is called briefly to inform you of changes in signal strength.

Silent / automatic mode
Press QUIET before signal detection to activate automatic mute mode, which automatically reduces volume to low volume setting after first warning. If you encounter radar / lasers, press the mute button to turn off the audible alarm while the visual alarm keeps you up to date.
Dark / dark mode
Dark / dark mode reduces screen brightness. Decrease. It can be light or dark during the alarm. In dark mode, the screen becomes dark as long as the signal is detected, and after 20 seconds the screen returns to the brightness setting.
Stay awake
Whistler's exclusive alert function tests the alert status for long trips.
Auto power saving mode
If you forget to turn off the detector, the car's power saving mode will automatically turn off the detector within 3 hours. If the detector is turned off or unplugged, or a button is pressed 6 hours before it is turned off, the timer is reset. Before closing the detector, you will be notified of sound and visual warnings.
SWS
The relatively new speed camera cannot detect speed at all and is used to inform you of traffic safety. The installation and programming of the transmitter (for example in emergency vehicles) can inform you about situations that may require attention, for example mobile or stationary ambulances, future road hazards, road construction or diversion delays, etc.
Alert priority
If two or more signals are received at the same time, the alarm has the following priority: Laser, VG-2, Speed Camera, Safety Camera.
Example: If the X band is in an alarm state and the VG-2 signal is detected suddenly, then the VG-2 warning exceeds the X-range alarm.
Dual alarm binoculars
Whistler's separate binoculars focus specifically on visual alert. When the device wakes up, the other two LED lights flash and stop to trigger a unique visual alarm.
