Sony plans to release PlayStation 5 specifications tomorrow

Sony announced today (Tuesday) that it will publish more specifications for the next generation (PlayStation 5) gaming platform tomorrow (Wednesday) in a special event.

The Japanese company said in a tweet on Twitter about its platform account (PlayStation) that it intends to "deepen" the structure of the system (PlayStation 5) and reveal what the platform will bring to the gaming world. The event takes place at 7 pm Mecca time and is broadcast live on the PlayStation Blog.

The platform activity happened after the company confirmed its name last October and issued some specifications in early 2019. The platform will use an eight-core processor based on the third-generation AMD Ryzen processor and processing unit. Custom GPU graphics based on AMD Radeon Navi devices.

Sony plans to support 8K resolution, 3D sound, 4K play at 120 fps, options to reduce power consumption and stream games with SSD SSD.

It is worth noting that the Sony event started a few days after Microsoft announced the full specifications of the next game console (Xbox X series).
