It took a month to get a star out. I tend to cut out another star because I hope to get 10 nanometers now. However, they worked well with other 14nm processors. Moore's Law was formally passed, so let's be silent. Rest in peace.
- Compared to replacing the quad-core 22nm i7-5820K, the 40% speed could be improved by about 100% under all workloads.
Compared to the old x99 chip, I9 uses very little energy and reduces heat.
12 minutes after the P95 torture test, the power is 176W. Because of unrealistic and ancient tests, the temperature temporarily reached a temporary rise in the 1980s. (The motherboard manufacturer monitoring program appeared in the mid-1970s, while Intel 80 appeared ...)
- Except for initial configuration and testing, I didn't manually overclock 9900 K, because this only leads to 3% performance compared to the improved process without active performance restrictions (e.g. overflow), but the Intel TDP specifications of these early Z390 motherboards are the world record setting . Just turn off the throttle and let the car work hard.
What I've seen in the above configuration is that the basic long-term base load is -5.0GHz and all cores are 4.7GHz permanently under permanent load (like the P95). I only use the H115i PRO AIO core for heat dissipation, and I haven't seen any workload performance limited to the official 3.6GHz speed.
Times have changed since basic overclocking 20 years ago. With the accelerator off, the CPU can do whatever I want. It is a free membership overclocking feature. Turbo can increase workload with amazing speed when needed. Even under pressure up to 5.0GHz, TPD can reduce TPD by less than 25W. You do not have to bring changes or adjustments between workloads. Don't let yourself get distracted. The matter!
Unlike the more expensive xx99 chipset, the Z390 provides fast syncing of Intel's integrated graphics processor for better performance and lower CPU / power consumption. However, I missed some of the long-term workloads, some were all temperatures.
- If you compare the price of the x299 platform, it looks like a good price. Due to innovation from AMD, Intel is dismantling its HEDT segment.

It is sold as a game processor, but IMHO is a good option for meeting workstation needs. The 12-year-old community is very disappointed with this slide. This part of the market is expensive, especially when prices rise
Due to a lack of 14 nm, it lost many innovations at last year's show. These innovations follow the latest upgrades you need, and if there are no industrial refrigerators, there is not much room for overclocking.
I9 -9900K is a good choice and offers you the latest and greatest. It is safe to say that the Intel 10-nanometer chip is expected to be released in 2020.
