Huawei officially announced the P40 and P40 |
After months of leaks and waiting, Huawei announced its flagship smartphones on Thursday: (Huawei P40) Huawei P40 and (Huawei P40 Pro) Huawei P40 Pro. As with previous versions, both phones work with Leica, a German optics company, and they have many advanced functions.
Huawei P40 Pro
Huawei P40 Pro is the most powerful of the two phones because it has a redundant screen from Huawei with four curved edges. The screen also includes a front camera, similar to the main Samsung phones, so Huawei will abandon the components that were launched last year (Huawei P30) for phones.
The front camera has a 32-megapixel camera that can record 4K video at 60 fps.
The screen itself has a 6.58-inch OLED type with a resolution of 2640 x 1200 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz, the phone screen also has a fingerprint sensor.
There are 3 cameras and the first ToF sensor for 3D imaging on the back of the phone. The main camera at the back is equipped with a 50 MP camera with a 1 / 2.28 inch sensor size, which is bigger than the most powerful Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra sensor (1.33 inches).
Huawei said: This camera supports autofocus to detect the eight phase, which means that 100% of the pixels support auto focus in the stage. The main camera also supports OIS optical stabilization technology and has a 1: 1.9 aperture.
The second rear view camera is equipped with binoculars, and provides 5x and 12MP optical zoom. The 40MP ultra wide angle camera features a 1: 1.8 aperture.
According to Huawei, the rear camera of the phone supports 4K video recording at 60 fps and Super Steady Telephoto video technology, which improves optical stabilization technology. The camera also supports ISO 51,200 and ultra-fast shots at 7680 fps.
It has a 4200 mAh (Huawei B40 Pro) battery and supports fast wireless charging technology of 27 watts output, while wired charging capacity is 40 watts. The phone supports IP68 water and dust resistance and is available in a variety of colors, including black, white, silver and gold.
For this purpose, Huawei plans to launch its mobile phone on April 7 of next year at a price of 1,000 euros with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
Huawei P40
This phone differs from (Huawei P40 Pro), it is smaller and does not provide the same distinct specifications, and it has a smaller 6.1-inch screen, the screen is flat and does not work because it has a resolution of + FHD and a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
The rear view camera (Huawei P40) is similar to the main common camera (Huawei P40 Pro), while the second camera is equipped with an 8-pixel camera with 3x optical zoom, OIS optical image stabilization and 1: 2.4 aperture while the third camera is 16 MP 1: 2.2 lens . The phone does not have a ToF 3D sensor.
The front camera also has a 32-megapixel resolution, but it does not support autofocus technology or an infrared depth sensor. The screen has a fingerprint sensor.
Similar to (Huawei P40 Pro), (Huawei P40) includes the latest Huawei processor (Kirin 990 5G) and Kirin 990 5G, which support 5G networks. However, the phone only supports the IP53 spray-resistant standard, so the IP68 waterproof and dustproof function is missing.
The phone has a 3800 mAh battery, but it does not support wireless charging technology, but it supports fast wired charging with a capacity of 22.5 watts.
Huawei plans to launch a mobile phone (Huawei P40) at a price of 800 euros with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage starting April 7 next year.
Due to the ongoing U.S. sanctions against the Chinese company, the phone (Huawei P40 Pro) and (Huawei P40) neither have services nor applications from Google, but they are running Android 10 in the App Store from Huawei AppGallery.
The phones are also equipped with the new Celia Voice Assistant, which supports English, French and Spanish.
