Foxconn told investors it covered 50% of its "seasonal energy needs". The company announced less than two weeks ago that it had returned to major Chinese factories after being forced to close major sites for health reasons.
Foxconn warned: "There is still a lot of uncertainty and the potential impact cannot be determined throughout the year. However, artificial intelligence, semiconductors and 5G networks remain a catalyst in the long run. So we believe some requirements will be postponed until the end of this year."
