More than a decade after first starting Windows on January 14, 2020, Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 7. Windows 7 forces users to upgrade to Windows 10 to obtain security updates.
Windows 10 provides many features and is the biggest update of Windows 10 features over Windows 7.
Security enhancements:
Improved security for Windows 10 as well as continually-corrected patches and updates are the main reasons for upgrading to the latest OS version.
Windows Hello: In addition to opening more than a dozen apps, the program uses face recognition to unlock the device via a webcam.
Microsoft Defender: Free antivirus and internet security with operating system.
Automatic updates: Unlike previous versions of the operating system, Windows 10 provides automatic updates by default to increase system security. You can therefore disable it if necessary by going to (Settings) then (Windows Update) and then going to Advanced Option. Then go from (Automatic) to another option in the drop-down menu.
Start menu:
Click the familiar Windows icon in the lower-left corner of the screen or on the keyboard to display a list of desktop applications and programs similar to the Windows 8 Start menu, including a large square icon on the right side of the email, calendar, and weather menu.
You can customize the settings you want for each app. Simply open the Start menu and click (“All Applications”), locate the application you want to convert into a square, right-click the button, then click on the marker to start the box, delete it, right-click it and click (Uninstall) from the start.
In Windows 10, you can access the second, less well-known start menu, which gives you access to important functions by pressing Windows + X or right-clicking on the Windows icon, for example B: Command Prompt, Control Panel and Task Manager.
Microsoft Cortana:
Cortana Digital Assistant is available from Microsoft on Windows 10 PCs. Cortana works as a personal assistant, just like Apple's Siri, and uses voice commands to help with tasks like scheduling, reading, or summarizing email messages.
Edge Browser:
Say goodbye to Internet Explorer with the new Microsoft operating system when the company introduced Edge to replace the old mainstream. In January this year, the company released a new Edge, based on the engine that controls Google Chrome, improving compatibility with modern websites and providing good experiences and better browsing.
You can go to the Microsoft Edge website, select (Windows) and click (Download) to download the new Edge browser to Windows 10.
Constant update:
Unlike Windows 7, Microsoft is constantly updating Windows 10 to address security issues and improve device performance. This is part of Microsoft's move to improve Windows. Constant updates instead of new versions of Work.
To check for updates, click Start, click Settings, select Updates and Security, and then click (Check for updates) under (Windows Update).
