| Uber plans to place ads on some of its cars |
Uber plans to advertise, and the company has signed an agreement with the company to put ads on the roofs of some of its cars. This can work with Adomani Corporation to generate new revenue.
Although Uber drivers can place ads on their cars through external companies such as (Firefly), this is the first time that the company plans to run its own ads.
According to (Adweek), Uber will begin promoting specific vehicles in the three cities of Phoenix, Dallas and Atlanta on April 1. In the first stage of exit, roof ads are shown to about 1,000 cars.
Partnership with (Adomni) allowed the creation of a new Uber business unit called (Uber OOH) with support from Adomni and provided to the company, which became a public company in May, with an additional source of income in 2019.
Since July 2018, Cargo has entered into an exclusive agreement with Uber to sell snacks, art accessories and cosmetics to Uber passengers. In addition to agreeing to distribute advertising revenue between Uber and (Adomni), Cargo and Uber Screen are delivered separately.
