Uber adds a feature that enables passengers to report drivers hidden |
Uber has released a new app update that allows passengers to report "hidden" situations that do not constitute an emergency, but may cause them to be disabled and render them dangerous on the trip.
Examples of Uber in these cases include "hard braking", "wrong language" or the fact that the driver doesn't care about the road.
Uber recently tried to strike a balance between improving passenger safety and realizing that drivers might also be victims. The company recently released its first safety report, which identified 3,045 sexual assaults during Uber Travel in 2018. Additionally, nine people were driven (Uber) and 58 people were killed in traffic accidents. Interestingly, Uber said: The driver stated that she and the passengers were the same in the attack.
Uber added an 'Emergency' button to its app in 2018, which allows travelers to choose an emergency with the push of a button. However, it appears that new measures are being taken to solve the problem that not all police security cases relate to.
Uber said: The purpose of this job is to give passengers the opportunity to report errors during the flight and not at the end. This feature will be available today in the United States and Canada. "By removing obstacles to reporting security issues, our goal is to promote more reports that will ultimately make the app safer for everyone," the company added.
